High-Frequency Technology & Corrosion-Resistant Probe for 0-40% Moisture Range Testing

Jan 06, 2026

Having accurate measurements of the moisture levels in dried fruits and vegetables during food processing, storage, or distribution is essential if you want to maintain the quality of your products and maximise the length of time they remain on shelves while reducing the chance of spoilage. The SKZ111C-4 Moisture Meter for Dried Fruits and Vegetables has been designed for this specific purpose in mind and is simple to use and operated by all users. This unit will provide accurate, non-destructive moisture readings for your dehydrated produce because it operates on a high-frequency detection principle and has a built-in probe which is durable, portable, and provides an ideal measuring solution for everyday use, whether at a factory, warehouse, or during an inspection. High-Frequency Performance and Targeted Moisture Range - The SKZ111C-4 has been designed to provide superior performance on dried fruits and vegetables with a moisture measurement range of 0-40%. This measurement range is within the natural moisture content range of many of the commonly dehydrated products, such as crispy dried apple slices, dehydrated carrot sticks, chewy dried mango, and leafy dried spinach. The SKZ111C-4's principle of operation is based on using high-frequency technology; measurements made by the SKZ111C-4 have a frequency of greater than 10 MHz which allows the user to take moisture readings deep inside the internal structure of granular or sliced samples without damaging the samples. The SKZ111C-4 uses a high-frequency measurement method, which provides an advantage over traditional measurement methods such as weighing or oven-dry methods because the SKZ111C-4 is quick and non-destructive, enabling high-volume production lines to streamline their QC processes. The SKZ111C-4 contains two AB stalls and a 2-pin design that allows the user to switch stalls to obtain the most accurate readings possible for the many different textures of dried fruits and vegetables; thus improving the accuracy of moisture measurements. When used appropriately, the SKZ111C-4 offers reliable and consistent readings that will reduce the chances of problems with food quality, including the growth of mould due to excessive moisture
