The SKZ1050D's Modular Design and Anti-Interference Technology Provide the Groundwork for a New Era in Accuracy and Performance Measurements of Multiple Gases
Because of the revolutionary design of the SKZ1050D, it is now one of the most flexible instruments available for gas analysis. This is more than just beneficial for the user; it is essential for all users of gas analysis equipment who want to measure different types of gases. The user has full control over how many (1-3) modules installed on the instrument to meet user's gas measurement. Each of the modules includes its own pump so that multiple gas samples can be accurately measured. For example, a user doing environmental monitoring may only need to measure one or two types of gases (for this reason only one module may be required, which saves complexity and money). Whereas a user in a large petrochemical facility may be required to measure multiple types of hydrocarbons, sulfur compounds and nitrogen oxides simultaneously (in this case the user may use a 3 module configuration). The modularity of the SKZ1050D is so good that it can measure from 1 to 18 types of compounds. In contrast, each of the pumps in the SKZ1050D modules are independent of the other gas analyzer systems (whereas most gas analyzers use a common sampling system for all types of gases). Because each gas module uses an independent pump, it is possible to accurately and reliably measure each gas sample without the potential for mixing/interference during measurement.
